2023 National Tournament and Conference

The Atlanta Chapter is excited to host the 2023 National Tournament. Atlanta is putting forth every effort to ensure you and your significant other have a wonderful time at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida. The Hall of Fame is moving in 2024 so this will be a great opportunity to get a view of golf memorabilia for the most famous golfers of our time.

 

As we make final preparations for National, we want to give you a preview of what to expect. We don’t usually tell what the golfer gift will be, but we’ve decided to make an exception in light of the personalized nature of the gift.

 

For those registered by June 30th, your initials will be included on the head covers for your driver and 3 wood (see attached). Registrations received after June 30th, will receive the head covers without the initials. Golfers, we want to get your competitive juices flowing so we will have optional closest to the pin on all par threes every day, at a cost of $10 per day. It is either all or none. Additionally, we will have a 50/50 at a cost of $10 per ticket. There are multiple chances to win!!

 

As for the itinerary, we will have registration and the hospitality room open on Wednesday. However, Thursday will be different from previous years. As you know, typically we finish golf late and struggle to get back and showered for dinner. This has caused us to miss most of the hospitality activities. This year, we are offering an option that allows for greater flexibility and leeway. Prefixed meal options will be provided which begin at 7:30pm. Beginning at 8:30pm, a live band will kick off our hospitality reception for all to enjoy. Prefixed meal opportunities are limited to 200 so register early. Details on the prefixed options can be found on the registration form. Let us not forget our significant others who are being provided various activities for all to enjoy.

 

The activities include riding tours of St. Augustine, visitation of an African American History Museum, and a stroll among the many shops in downtown St. Augustine. Please include contact information for your significant other so they are informed of these activities. Attached you will find all of the cost and the methods of payment. After your registration fee is received, you will be provided the link to register at the Renaissance Hotel. If there are two golfers in the room, only one needs to make reservations at the Renaissance. PLEASE PUT YOUR GOLFER ROOMMATE ON EACH REGISTRATION FORM.

 

All golfers must stay at the Renaissance. It is imperative that you pay attention to the deadlines and not procrastinate. We have 188 spots and judging from the inquiries received, we will hit that number before July 30th. DEADLINES: June 30th registration in order to have initials on your gift. July 30th last day to register and pay all fees (or earlier based on availability)
